Dr. Karen Escott D.C.

Dr. Karen EscottD.C. has been in practice in Chico, CA since 1992, helping people of all ages get rid of their pain, regain their health and improve their everyday lives. Chiropractic care changed her life years ago after suffering injuries in a car accident. After recovering from her neck injury, persistent headaches and regaining her health through chiropractic care she decided to become a chiropractor herself. Her Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University gave her almost all the prerequisites to attend chiropractic school. In the next 5 years she dedicated herself to chiropractic school and graduated in 1990 at the top of her class. She earned the distinguished honor of Summa Cum Laude at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. Quite an accomplishment! She went on to become licensed in both Nevada and California.

Continuing Education

Continuing education is a requirement for all chiropractors. Karen has done her share and more. Early in her professional development she became a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and more recently completed the vigorous postgraduate work for the Chiropractic Clinical Neurology certificate. All this education gives her the tools to better diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.

Getting to know Karen is easy. She is friendly and down to earth. Involved in the community, she has created many friends and patients. You may see her walking in the park with her dog Jack and a friend. She plays golf at Canyon Oaks Country Club, and has been a long time, and active member of Soroptomist International of Chico.
